Knock Knock changes the way people interact with their environment. Many of the buildings on our campus are nearing their centennial birthday which means they have a lot of quirks. One such quirk is a small door at the bottom of the stairs in the Texas building.

Knock Knock was an installation in that small door. Using motion sensors, a Make controller, and a computer with speakers, I installed ‘Knock Knock.’ When someone walked past the door a faint knocking sound came from behind the door, if that person was brave enough to open the door, they would receive words of wisdom.
