I am a visual communicator. I develop solutions through collaboration and careful research. I value cultural differences, ideas and philosophies. Working as a problem solver within a creative team is the most rewarding experience in design. 

When a person is passionate about their work other people are drawn to them. I love what I do. Design challenges me while allowing me to flex my creative muscles. It gives me the ability to explore a variety of topics and a chance to communicate with the world around me. 

Much of my work is a collaboration with other designers, creatives, or with the audience viewing the work. Being able to work with people who have different viewpoints and backgrounds strengthens every aspect of the project. Giving the audience a chance to participate and interact with the work adds an element of surprise to the project. I have been lucky enough to participate in workshops and projects throughout the U.S. with some great designers and students. These workshops have influenced every aspect of my work.  

Collecting and analyzing information is key to any project. I first developed the tools and passion for research in high school while studying the local history. That ability and interest grew as my career at RMCAD progressed. 

Now as a full time designer at Wall Street On Demand in Boulder Colorado I get to explore how the financial world handles information design.
